Sometimes a girl just needs to leave her excess. When this blog temporarily becomes my excess, I rely on some of my favorite past posts to save the day - sort of recycling the good stuff. If you caught it the first time around, please let us know if you tried it and it worked for you!
For the past few weeks I have been sharing some of my favorite homemade cleaner recipes and cleaning tips for all around the house. I hope that you have learned a lot and are inspired to try some of the recipes or at least put it on your to do list to try at some point!
A note about my main source for homemade cleaning recipes: The recipes I use come from the book Clean House, Clean Planet - Clean your house for pennies a day, the safe nontoxic way by Karen Logan. I am a big fan of the library, but this is one book worth owning - mine is falling apart. This book has over 100 cleaning recipes, everything from daily household cleaners to air fresheners, ant killer, car cleaners, carpet cleaners, laundry detergent and on and on. If you are serious about making your own cleaners, I highly recommend buying the book (I checked, and Amazon has it for less than $11 new - there are used copies, too).

I love your name, and your mission! The Lord has had me on a similar journey over the last year. I am unnnerved and ashamed of how difficult it is sometimes! I really didn't like seeing how deeply rooted materialism was in me. Disturbing! I thought I was much more God-centered. HA! But I am on the road to recovery! and refocussing, recentering, all things good! It WILL come, through His grace and strength!
